dane + dane studios is a boutique creative firm based in Seattle, specializing in portrait photography + design for discerning individuals and businesses around the globe.
dane + dane was founded in 2005 by J.Nichole Smith who, since that time, has photographed nearly 2,000 dogs, has had work published in nearly every national dog lifestyle publication, has been a featured photographer in Professional Photographer Magazine and provided the photography for "The Good Behavior Book for Dogs" (Quarry).
In 2007 photographer Amelia Soper joined the dane + dane pack and with her, a new division of dane + dane emerged: wedding photography.
Together Nichole, Amelia (Amy) and of course Olivia (the pink-nosed, cow-spotted dane + dane mascot) spend their time capturing masterful portraits of pets, photographing weddings, traveling up + down the West coast documenting various pet friendly resorts + getaways and generally helping other pet businesses put their best paw forward.
